Job summary

One Hope United in Illinois seeks a Crisis Specialist to provide community-based crisis intervention, case management, and mental health services to children and adults. You will respond to 988 calls, assess safety, connect clients to resources, and coordinate services under the ARC framework.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork in a dynamic, mission-driven setting. Qualifications include BS/BA and 1–3 years in child welfare; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor- or degree-related requirement; BSW preferred
• 1–3 years in child welfare required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (OHU insurance levels)

Responsibilities

• Provide daytime crisis intervention, crisis response for 988 calls, and in-home services as needed
• Link clients to health insurance, therapy, housing, and medical services
• Complete Medicaid-compliant documentation within timelines
• Perform Safety/ Crisis Prevention Plans with QMHP/LPHA
• Coordinate transportation and service linkage to ensure client stability
