One Hope United in Mt. Vernon, IL is seeking a CCRP Crisis Specialist to provide community-based crisis intervention, case management, counseling, and mental health services to children and adults in line with program guidelines.

This full-time role involves daytime crisis coverage with potential evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; links clients to resources such as health insurance, housing, and therapy; requires a BS/BA and 1–3 years in child welfare; and a valid driver’s license with

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA degree required; BSW preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of related experience in child welfare required.
• Other: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with OHU; required auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Daytime crisis intervention services, hours starting 8 am–7 pm or later.
• Crisis calls may extend past 5 pm with evening-shift coverage.
• Occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as schedule requires.
• Conducts Crisis/Safety Assessments with ETA of 60 minutes for CCRP or 90 minutes for other programs.
• Link clients to resources (health insurance, therapy, housing, medical treatment).
• Provide in-home services to assess needs, safety, and safety plans.
• Provide transportation for clients per program guidelines.
• Act as central communications hub across services during crisis events.
• Represent the agency at court hearings as necessary.
