Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a per diem, 1099 contractor role. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol, with transport, setup, and reports handled on each visit.

Position requires active cardiac/vascular registration, BLS, and a reliable vehicle; travel expenses are reimbursed per visit. AI tools may be used in screening; privacy policy applies.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport; willingness to travel regionally.
• Ability to work independently in field settings with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to conduct in-home echocardiograms and vascular imaging.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment on site.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Adhere to ASE standards and assist with basic equipment troubleshooting.
