Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network, seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for per diem, 1099 contracting. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging, with reimbursements for mileage, airfare, and lodging.

Experience in RDCS/RVT is required with BLS and a valid driver’s license. You will work independently in non-traditional settings, using portable ultrasound equipment and software to capture, label, and report

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (e.g., RDCS/RVT or similar)
• BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Willingness to travel regionally/local
• Adaptability in field-based environments

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes to conduct visits
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific guidelines
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and labeling for cardiology review
• Prepare preliminary report with measurements and comments
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
