Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a per diem, independent contractor role in the United States. You will travel regionally to patient homes to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits.

Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment, perform echocardiograms and vascular studies per protocol, and prepare preliminary reports. Travel expenses are reimbursed per visit, with ASE standards maintained.

Qualifications

• Active cardiac and vascular imaging registration (RDCS/RCS with RVT/RVS).
• BLS certification required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel regionally to patient homes and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes for in-home imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment on-site.
• Explain procedures, obtain informed cooperation, and acquire cardiac/vascular images.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol and label images correctly.
• Complete preliminary reports with measurements and notes; maintain ASE standards.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and manage time effectively.
