Hawthorne Health seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a per-visit, independent contractor role. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging using portable ultrasound equipment. Travel expenses like mileage and lodging are reimbursed per visit.

Requirements include active RDCS/RVT registration, BLS, and reliable transportation. This is a 1099 per diem position with compensation stated per visit.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS) and vascular imaging (RVT) is required.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally and to patient homes.
• Access to reliable internet and personal computer for study tools.

Responsabilités

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes for imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at homes.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Ensure image quality and proper labeling for review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and comments.
• Maintain ASE standards in imaging and safety.
