Job summary

Hawthorne Health is hiring dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a per diem, 1099 independent contractor role. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol, with per-visit pay and travel reimbursement.

Requirements include active RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS credentials, BLS, a valid driver's license, and comfort with field-based work. Per visit compensation ranges from $450 to $600.

Qualifications

• Active dual registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (e.g., RDCS/RCS plus RVT/RVS).
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits.
• Set up and operate portable ultrasound equipment at patient locations.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
