Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This role supports Engineering and Technical Services, focusing on keeping facility systems up to standards.

You will oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life-safety systems, review work orders, estimate time and materials, and manage inventory while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s license and Universal CFC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, life safety and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and manage emergencies.
• Review inspections to ensure building operations meet design and environmental specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles to perform daily tasks.
• Share knowledge and coach others within the team.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Explain complex information to clients and stakeholders.
