Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Technical Specialist in Coagulation. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm, with e/o weekend and rotating holidays.

The MLS will perform coagulation and related clinical lab tests under supervision, ensuring accuracy and precision through calibration and maintenance of instrumentation. The candidate should have a Bachelor's or Associate degree with CLIA qualifications for moderate to high

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree and CLIA requirements for moderate to high complexity testing.
• Certification: MT or MLS (ASCP) preferred.
• Experience: multiple candidate paths with 3–8 years depending on MT/MLT and internal/external candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform various clinical laboratory tests with emphasis on coagulation and related sections.
• Maintain and calibrate multiplex instrumentation to ensure accuracy of results.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate issues affecting test performance or reporting.
