Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for the Core Lab at Evanston Hospital. The role is full time with a 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and rotating holidays.

You will perform tests across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation, and participate in immunology, bone marrow, and flow cytometry on the day shift when available. You will review results, notify staff of critical values, perform QC, instrument checks, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Biology or Chemistry is required.
• MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification is required.
• Experience: Any.

Responsabilités

• Performs clinical lab testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation; special coagulation, immunology, bone marrow and flow cytometry on day shift.
• Reviews patient test results for accuracy and notifies clinical personnel of critical results.
• Maintains quality control, records, instrument checks and maintenance per protocols.
• Ensures safety and proper handling of biohazardous materials and chemicals; assists in training staff.
