Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Supervisor, Lab - Core Lab MLS to lead a team of Medical Technologists, Technicians, and support staff at Evanston Hospital. The role involves scheduling, performance management, and maintaining quality across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking, with rigorous adherence to CLIA, CAP, and OSHA standards.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), MT/MLS certification, and 5 years’ lab experience with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience as Medical Technologist with demonstrated leadership.
• MT/MLS certification required by a recognized agency (e.g., ASCP).
• Experience with new instrumentation, middleware or lab information systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of Medical Technologists, Technicians and support staff.
• Coordinate work schedules and optimize staffing for efficient operations.
• Oversee a wide range of laboratory tests and ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Ensure adherence to CLIA, CAP, OSHA, QA/QC programs and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret findings and communicate results.
