Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Senior for the Special Coag team at Evanston Hospital. The role requires leading immunology and coagulation testing, with day shift responsibilities and a strong focus on quality assurance and patient safety.

You will mentor staff, maintain rigorous records, and participate in policy development while staying current with industry best practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Biology or Chemistry.
• MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
• 5+ years as MLS with quality and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in Immunology, Chemistry, Hematology, UA, body fluids and Coagulation.

Mansioni

• Oversee clinical tests in the immunology area with instrument ownership and QA oversight.
• Contribute to development and review of lab policies and procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures and results.
• Provide training and ongoing education to laboratory staff.
• Promote continuous learning and professional growth within the department.
• Perform clinical testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation and related areas on days.
• Review patient results for accuracy and notify clinicians of critical results.
