You will calibrate equipment, maintain quality controls, resolve interdepartmental issues, and rotate through multiple lab areas. Education must meet CLIA requirements; MT/MLS (ASCP) certification is preferred, with several years of experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree and CLIA testing requirements.
• MT or MLS (ASCP) preferred.
• Experience in clinical laboratory settings with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical microbiology tests in laboratory sections to assist diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain and calibrate multiplex instrumentation to ensure accurate results.
• Routinely resolve technical/interdepartmental problems and communicate findings.
• Identify issues affecting test performance and take corrective actions.
• Work cooperatively with others and demonstrate strong communication and organization.
