Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Yakima, WA. The role runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a pay range of $37.70 to $44.19 per hour.

The position includes performance-based bonus potential and comprehensive benefits designed to support health, wealth, and development. Responsibilities include performing high and moderate complexity tests, ensuring quality control, and documenting results in the LIS.

Qualifications

• One (1) year full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Preferred: 3 years clinical experience with most current year in present department.
• Licenses/Certifications such as ASCP preferred may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform test procedures of moderate/high complexity with independent judgment.
• Support department in quality control, troubleshooting, instrument maintenance, and staff training.
• Perform and report assigned analytical tests per SOPs and quality requirements.
• Enter results into the Laboratory Information System for physician review.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant laboratory environment.
