Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience performing high-complexity testing as a generalist.
• Experience adhering to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA guidelines.
• Knowledge of test analyses, reporting and records management.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, test analyses, reporting and records.
• Maintain records that proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
• Follow policies when test systems are outside acceptable performance.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisor.
