Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Carnegie, PA, seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for the Evening Shift (Mon–Fri, 12:00PM–8:00PM). You will perform complex tests, troubleshoot instruments, and support QC and training in a high-throughput lab.

Requirements include a BS/BA in Medical Technology or related field (or AS) and 1 year of clinical lab experience; 3 years preferred. Excellent LIS skills and MS Office proficiency are desired.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory.
• Preferred: minimum three years of clinical experience with most recent year in current department.
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology; or AS in Laboratory Science.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate/high complexity tests with independence and judgment.
• Troubleshoot instruments, support QC, maintenance and staff training.
• Enter results into LIS and ensure turnaround times; comply with SOPs.
• Adhere to safety, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements.
