Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Perth Amboy, NJ. The role is hospital-based at Raritan Bay with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule on weekdays and rotating weekends. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants.

The position includes performing high- and moderate-complexity tests and contributing to quality control and SOP compliance. Pay range is $32.00–$50.73 per hour, with potential annual incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience in a clinical laboratory
• Three years of clinical experience preferred
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology or related Associates

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate/high complexity tests per SOPs and report results
• Troubleshoot instruments and monitor quality control
• Ensure proper specimen handling and processing and accurate data entry
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and records for compliant operation
