Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II to support high-complexity testing on a Monday to Friday schedule, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekends. You will perform test procedures with independence, applying judgment in designated specialties while upholding SOPs and quality control.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting instruments, documenting results in the LIS, and adhering to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA standards.

Competenze

• One (1) year full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience with most current year in present department.

Mansioni

• Perform test procedures of moderate/high complexity requiring independent judgement.
• Troubleshoot instruments and procedures and support quality control.
• Report test results and maintain records and LIS data.
• Follow CLIA/HIPAA/OSHA and safety requirements.
