Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Mission Systems Senior Engineering Manager for the CTSE group in Cedar Rapids. The role is onsite and leads 12–15 software, systems and hardware test engineers delivering tested solutions for engineering and production.

Qualified candidates hold a STEM degree (or advanced degree) with 7–10+ years, EVMS experience, and leadership capability. Security clearance is required. Travel is rare, relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required.
• Experience leading teams of 12–15 engineers across software, systems and hardware.
• Experience with budgeting, staff planning and career development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 12-15 test engineers in design and development of test solutions.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance reviews for staff.
• Identify staffing, facilities and equipment needs to execute projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules and performance requirements for test programs.
• Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
