Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Aurora, CO to lead verification across cloud-enabled, distributed mission systems. You will develop test strategies, guide automated testing, and support integration with multidiscipline teams in an agile environment.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship, with responsibilities spanning end-to-end data flows, security controls, and test artifact management as part of a dynamic mission systems program.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed or cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with interface and configuration management practices.
• Experience with automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to lead troubleshooting across multidiscipline teams.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Degree in STEM; 5+ years of experience (or advanced degree +3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts.
• Perform integration and verification of distributed, cloud-enabled mission applications.
• Evaluate end-to-end data flows, security controls, and acceptance criteria.
• Guide test environment setup, data preparation, and deployment validation.
• Drive defect investigation and coordinate root-cause analysis with engineering teams.
• Maintain alignment of test artifacts within controlled technical baselines.
• Participate in interface control working groups.
• Provide input to architecture discussions to ensure testability.
