Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the CTSE organization to lead multidisciplinary teams in designing and maintaining automated test solutions. You will oversee projects from inception through deployment and provide long-term support to customers, including armed services and airlines both domestic and international.

The role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and hands-on experience with systems, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience.
• Prior project leadership of multidiscipline engineering teams and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead project technical execution and maintain performance metrics.
• Manage project scope and change requests per commitments.
• Generate and maintain project schedules with dependencies and critical path.
• Utilize Earned Value methods for budget and schedule management.
• Ensure projects meet quality expectations.
• Identify risks and opportunities and resolve them proactively.
• Prepare presentations reporting project status to leadership teams.
• Develop engineering estimates and proposals for potential projects.
