Axon is seeking a Mission Engineer II to embed with public safety agencies, turning operational challenges into working technical solutions. You'll spend time with frontline users, understand agency workflows, and translate problems into clear technical requirements.

You’ll build using Axon tools, AI, automation, data, and the broader Axon ecosystem, becoming a go-to technical resource. This role emphasizes ownership, sustained impact, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Support to

Competenze

• 3–5+ years in solutions engineering or related hands-on technical role.
• Foundational software engineering ability and experience building technical solutions.
• Experience with APIs, scripting/programming, data, testing, and debugging.
• Understanding of AI concepts and practical applications.
• Ability to learn emerging platforms and tools quickly.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

• Embed with assigned agencies to understand their mission, people, workflows, systems, and priorities.
• Develop broad knowledge of the Axon ecosystem and deeper expertise in deployed products.
• Translate customer problems into clear technical requirements and measurable success criteria.
• Build applications, dashboards, workflows, automations using Axon products and approved tools.
• Move solutions from discovery into real customer use and measure outcomes against success criteria.
