Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an energetic Membership Sales Representative for face-to-face, community-based outreach. You will meet small business owners, present NFIB’s mission, and invite them to join a national movement that advocates for entrepreneurship and job creation.

You will be part of a hunter/closer model with a structured sales process, focusing on impact and results while earning uncapped commissions and performance-based rewards.

Qualifications

• Mission-driven and passionate about small business success.
• Self-starters with grit, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
• Coachable and willing to follow a proven sales process.
• Quick thinkers who adapt in live conversations.
• Sales experience is helpful—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with small business owners through in-person prospecting (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation with confidence, authenticity, and urgency.
• Build fast rapport and communicate NFIB’s mission clearly and compellingly.
• Address objections and close membership enrollments in one visit.
• Process membership payments on the spot.
