Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects within the Advanced Facilities Group. You will lead safety, coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure timely, profitable completion in alignment with JE Dunn’s goals.

You will collaborate with field leadership to staffing, procurement, and project closeouts while adhering to company policies and safety standards across various high‑tech industrial projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years construction; 1+ years field supervision.
• Proficiency in project management, scheduling and accounting software; knowledge of Lean processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all safety culture efforts and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develop work plans and coordinate project schedules.
• Monitor budget and costs using project reports and PM software.
• Coordinate meetings and communicate project information to stakeholders.
