Job summary

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute project work across our advanced facilities portfolio. You’ll supervise material, equipment and people while ensuring documentation and profitability align with JE Dunn's strategy and values.

You’ll lead safety culture, manage subcontractors, coordinate site activities, and drive pre-planning and change management with the project team. This role may require travel and nontraditional hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and creates an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs like Safety, Quality and EEO.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care and control.
• Leads meetings and participates in progress reviews.
• Creates and manages project schedule with Project Manager.
• Tracks budget and costs using cost reports.
• Communicates project information to owners and team.
