Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects. You will oversee materials, equipment, people management and documentation to meet goals for timely, profitable completion, aligned with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

Role requires 3+ years construction experience and 1+ year of field supervision. Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong safety culture and cost control skills are essential for success on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong safety leadership and incident investigation skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors and project workflow.
• Develop work plans for self-performed work.
• Coordinate project site care and control.
• Lead daily standups and trade meetings.
• Prepare and manage project schedules.
• Monitor budgets and cost reports.
• Ensure quality compliance with specs and QA/QC.
