Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead and execute technical projects from concept to completion. You will plan, coordinate with technical teams, manage budgets, and maintain robust customer relationships while reporting to the VP of Project & Mission Management.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in project management or a related role supporting complex technical projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including technical and project management staff, defining tasks, schedules, and levels of effort.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
• Facilitate meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, and retrospectives.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Perform post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
