Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute assigned projects. You will oversee material, equipment, people management and documentation to meet goals. The role supports JE Dunn’s strategy and values while driving timely, profitable completion.

You will lead safety culture, coordinate subcontractors, and manage project budget, schedule and QA/QC across small to large scopes, with travel and non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to lead safety culture and mentor others.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field staff.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, cost control and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture on the project and ensures compliance.
• Manages subcontractors, material workflow and site logistics.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develops work plans, tracks progress and manages schedule.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team and authorities.
• Supports budgeting, cost reporting and change management.
• Coordinates with field leadership for staffing and project changes.
