Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator Technician to support Tier 2 O&M hardware for critical IT environments on a customer site.

You will maintain desktops, servers, VoIP, video conferencing, and related hardware, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate incident resolution with customers. This role requires US citizenship and a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Understanding of desktop computers, thin clients, servers, VoIP phones, video conferencing, cabling standards, installation, systems administration, testing equipment, and ITIL best practices.
• Must possess appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered: CompTIA Security+ CE is the minimum certification.
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Location: On Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT services.
• Maintain current technical knowledge to resolve complex issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and changes to meet timelines.
• Provide customer-facing support and communicate incident status effectively.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and service providers.
• Participate in special projects and process improvements.
