Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a mission-focused IT team supporting U.S. government operations.

You will help ensure systems are secure, up-to-date, and responsive across locations, while collaborating with service desks and developers to maintain mission readiness. You will install and troubleshoot enterprise devices, manage configurations via SCCM/Active Directory, and secure mobile environments.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 compliant for IAT Level II required.
• Windows 7/10 operating systems experience.
• Experience with personal computers, peripherals, and software repair/installation.
• Experience with VPN technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technology (VMware) desired.
• Experience with configuring Android and iPhones.
• Experience with Cisco Call Manager.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Effective communications and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot enterprise computers, mobile devices, and related IT equipment.
• Apply a baseline for mobile/desktop configurations including patches and OS updates.
• Utilize SCCM and Active Directory to troubleshoot and deploy images.
• Utilize mobile device management software to monitor, manage, and secure user devices.
• Build and deploy mobile solutions based on customer requirements.
• Perform intensive troubleshooting and problem resolution for multiple locations and networks.
• Handle Level 1 and Level 2 issues for POTS phones and Cisco call devices.
• Coordinate with IT professionals to resolve cross-team issues and track changes.
• Collaborate with CRM/SharePoint Developers to resolve content/permission issues.
