Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Systems Administrator/Mission Support Operator for on-site 24/7 operations in the United States. The role requires TS/SCI or DoE Q clearance and hands-on IT/network background to manage mission-critical systems.

You will monitor, triage, and respond to incidents across multiple locations, with a strong emphasis on reliability, rapid response, and coordination with engineering and field teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of directly related experience in IT / Network administration and support.
• TS/SCI or DoE Q Clearance.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or WireShark.
• Knowledge of critical physical infrastructure (HVAC, Power, UPS, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7, 365, 12hrs shift Tier 1/2 operational support to end customers and users.
• Monitor performance and capacity of IT systems using monitoring tools.
• Triage hardware, software, and environmental faults.
• Respond to real-time, mission critical situations and provide timely resolution.
• Maintain SOP/TTP documentation and CM processes (Incidents, Assets).
