Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. You will work on data center projects nationwide, providing civil site design, budgeting, and coordination across regions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and PE or ability to obtain within 6 months. This role supports coordination across teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks under supervision of Project Manager or Lead Engineer.
• Lead site design, grading, utility design, and drainage design.
• Coordinate with project partners, clients, and external consultants; manage scope, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare and revise site plans, grading plans, utility plans, diagrams, and details.
• Lead meetings and participate in client requirements and value analyses.
