Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. You will design private civil site layouts, conduct grading and utility design, and support permitting and construction oversight.

The role involves collaboration across regions and multiple project types to meet tight deadlines. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and PE licensure or eligibility within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil design.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks on projects under supervision.
• Lead site design, grading, and utility design efforts.
• Coordinate with PM/Lead Engineer and external consultants.
• Prepare and revise site plans, grading plans, and utility plans.
• QC/QA on own projects and contribute to standards development.
