Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. You will contribute to private civil site designs, construction documents, and cost estimates for nationwide data center programs.

The role requires strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams, with leadership opportunities as you support various project sizes and scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in mission critical data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil systems, design standards, and project budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site designs, grading, drainage, and utility plans under supervision.
• Lead coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants.
• Assist in scope, budget, staffing, and schedule management.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents and specifications.
• Review and QA/QC on project deliverables.
