Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on Mission Critical Data Center projects within the Community Development Group. You will engage in site due diligence, design, entitlement, permitting, and construction across multiple geographic regions.

The role supports Fortune 10 clients with proactive, responsive design teams and diverse project scopes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering, PE eligibility, and at least 5 years of civil experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and PE eligibility or licensure within 6 months.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential.
• Experience with civil design concepts and site development processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks on Data Center projects under supervision.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders across regions.
• Develop site plans, grading, utility designs, and drainage solutions.
• Support cost estimating, scope, and scheduling under PM guidance.
• Prepare project documents, specifications, and design details.
• Lead coordination meetings and ensure QA/QC on deliverables.
