Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer for Mission Critical Data Center projects within the Community Development Group. The role involves civil design, site layout, grading, utility and drainage work, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Applicants should have a PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, and related hydraulic tools. Hybrid travel across locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil systems and design processes across project phases.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks on Data Center-focused projects under supervision.
• Lead site design, grading, utility, and drainage design, including code reviews.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and external consultants; lead meetings.
• Prepare project details, drawings, and 3D models; support QA/QC.
