Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. You will work on data center projects nationwide and collaborate with a core design team across multiple regions to deliver site design, permitting, and construction documentation.

You will lead civil design tasks, communicate with clients, and support cost estimating while coordinating with project managers and partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks under supervision.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project partners across geographic regions.
• Performs and oversees calculations using standard software and proprietary manufacturer tools.
