Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a Business Development Manager II to drive new business growth within CAE's Defense and Security Military Training and Simulation portfolio, coordinating with capture, programs, and engineering.

You will analyze market conditions, build customer relationships, and shape solutions aligned with customer priorities to support CAE's mission. You will collaborate across teams to develop growth strategies, engage customers, perform competitive intelligence, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 2–3 years in business development, capture, program management, or defense related fields.
• Ability to translate customer missions into actionable growth strategies.
• Strong communication with government customers and stakeholders.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in capture and proposal activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD plans within assigned portfolios and customer sets.
• Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities aligned with CAE's growth objectives.
• Maintain relationships with government customers, military leaders, and industry partners.
• Develop customer engagement plans, opportunity assessments, and competitive positioning.
• Coordinate with capture, engineering, strategy, finance, contracts, and proposal teams.
• Prepare business cases, opportunity briefings, and pipeline updates.
• Support opportunity gate reviews with market, budget, and competitive data.
• Assist in transitioning opportunities to formal capture processes.
