Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager II to support growth across Defense and Security Military Training and Simulation. You will identify and qualify opportunities, build customer relationships, analyze market conditions, and shape solutions aligned with customer priorities.

You will collaborate with capture, program, engineering, strategy, and contracts teams to deliver differentiated proposals and growth plans for key U.S. military customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, national security, international relations, or another applicable field.
• Two–three years of relevant experience in business development, capture management, program management, or defense.
• Ability to translate customer missions into actionable business strategies.
• Experience building relationships with government customers and industry partners.
• Familiarity with DoD budgeting, procurement, and acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans within a portfolio.
• Identifies and qualifies new opportunities aligned with CAE growth objectives.
• Maintains relationships with government customers and industry partners.
• Develops customer engagement plans, opportunity assessments, and executive briefings.
• Supports capture and proposal activities with competitive positioning.
