Dinges Fire State Manager Job Description

1. This position requires a manager who understands the word ‘FLUID’. Dinges Fire is a growing company. Items on this list can be added or taken away at a moment's notice. It is vital that the State Manager can adapt and thrive while rolling with the changes.
2. Must have a firefighter background and understand all aspects of Fire Department and EMS needs. We are Firefighters Selling to Firefighters!
3. The position requires being on the road within the State weekly, plus attending meetings at the Amboy home office and Fire Shows as needed. Travel within your assigned State working with our Sales Team and Fire Departments is a key responsibility.
4. This is a remote sales position. The State Manager must be adept at growing business without daily in-person management, requiring a home office setup.
5. Willing to work tirelessly to provide excellent customer service, aiming for every Fire Department Chief and Decision Maker in the State to know you personally.
6. The position requires knowledge of managing 1099 distributors/sales reps and personnel.
7. Experience in onboarding is necessary, as this role involves directly recruiting 1099 Sales Reps to cover your assigned State departments.
8. Strong managerial skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
9. The ideal candidate must possess excellent people skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
10. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT, and comfort with web-based sales programs are required. Strong computer and social media skills are a must.
11. Ideally, the State Manager resides in the State they are assigned to.
