Dinges Fire State Manager Job Description

1. This position requires a manager who understands the word ‘FLUID’. Dinges Fire is a growing company, and responsibilities may change rapidly. The ideal candidate must adapt and thrive amidst change.
2. Must have a firefighter background and understand the needs of Fire Departments and EMS. We are Firefighters Selling to Firefighters!
3. The role involves weekly travel within the State, attending meetings at the Amboy home office several times a year, and participating in Fire Shows as needed. Building relationships with Fire Departments and working with our Sales Team are key responsibilities.
4. This is a remote sales position. The State Manager should be capable of growing the business independently, with a dedicated home office setup.
5. Excellent customer service skills are essential, with the goal that every Fire Department Chief and Decision Maker in the State knows you personally. This requires tireless effort.
6. Management of 1099 distributors/sales reps and personnel is required.
7. Experience in onboarding is necessary, as the role involves recruiting 1099 Sales Reps to cover your assigned State departments.
8. Strong managerial, oral, and written communication skills are essential.
9. The candidate should have excellent people skills and enjoy working within a team environment.
10. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with web-based sales programs are required.
11. Ideally, the candidate resides in the State they are assigned.
