Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a MineStar Performance Engineer to drive high-value improvements for MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling across the region.
Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will work directly with customers, dealers, and internal teams to optimize safety, efficiency, and operations at scale. You will lead site assessments, CI initiatives, and tool implementations, applying data-driven methods to measure and improve performance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering with PE preferred.
- Experience with MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling performance.
- Lead Site Assessments, CI initiatives, and tool implementations.
- Apply advanced methods to measure, analyze, improve, and control performance.
- Provide coaching to Caterpillar teams, dealers, and customers.
- Advise on best practices and CI opportunities to raise performance.
- Maintain up-to-date operational documentation and reflect insights.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams.
- Support both contractual and non-contractual performance commitments.
