Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, mining tech or IT, with knowledge of Caterpillar MineStar or fleet systems.
• Ability to develop solutions to technical challenges in mining environments.
• Hands-on field support with software and hardware installation and config.
• Strong customer-focused approach and willingness to tailor solutions.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts and delivering value.
• Ability to consult with clients and apply practical guidance.
• Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven problem-solving approach across diverse operational contexts.

Responsibilities

• Define mining site infrastructure, set up servers, install and configure MineStar, upgrade with releases.
• Support deployment and commissioning of onboard hardware and office software.
• Conduct on-site visits to ensure seamless implementation and upgrades.
• Identify and document job/application profiles with customers during field work.
• Promote Caterpillar MineStar capabilities and participate in mining associations.
