Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a MineStar Test & Validation Engineer to validate MineStar technology solutions through proving ground and field testing.

You will work with engineering, product support, operations, and customers to ensure performance, quality, and reliability before release. The role requires understanding MineStar apps, mining operations, and onboard systems interacting with networks and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mining Engineering or related field.
• Experience with MineStar Products or mining technology solutions.
• Knowledge of software product testing and validation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute validation activities for MineStar products and features.
• Create test plans, procedures, and validation reports for release readiness.
• Validate MineStar functionality across proving ground and customer environments.
• Investigate, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document complex issues.
• Travel to customer sites to support validation efforts and deployments.
