Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a MineStar Application Specialist for on-site work at a Nevada mine site. You will implement MineStar Command, optimize performance, and support customers across 7x7 day/night rotations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, field support, and collaboration with Caterpillar engineering teams to drive improvements. You will be the on-site expert, interacting with customers, operators, and supervisors, while assisting with installations, QA/QC processes, and training

Qualifications

• Experience in mining technology and best practices.
• Strong field support and troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement MineStar Command and optimize system performance.
• Build trusted relationships with customers through collaboration.
• Support and advise MineStar Command Office Supervisors, Builders, Controllers, and Pit Technicians on system performance, focusing on minimizing downtime.
• Assist with hardware and software installation and configuration, including QA/QC processes.
• Measure, benchmark, and report on system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Create training materials and process documentation to support ongoing learning and operational excellence.
• Execute continuous improvement projects to optimize production and efficiency.
