Caterpillar is seeking a MineStar Application Specialist to support and maintain autonomous haul truck fleets, starting at the Bagdad Copper Mine in Arizona before transitioning to the Phoenix office with travel to mine sites. This role features a 7x7 day/night shift roster and on-site work five days a week to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Mining technology background strongly preferred.
• Experience with MineStar systems and autonomous mining technology is a plus.
• On-site field support experience in mining or industrial settings is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide product application expertise to customers.
• Consult with site to optimize mining technology operations.
• Ensure proper organizational support on site for mining tech.
• Establish key processes to support mining technology.
• Benchmark site performance for continuous improvement.
• Develop MineStar best practices and processes.
• Review site audits and provide recommendations.
• Mentor junior team members and train site staff.
• Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI.
