Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mine Technical Services Manager for the Western US to lead North American resource geology, mining, advisory services, and mineral processing teams across open pit and underground projects. You will guide technical and economic solutions, engage with clients, and drive business development for multiple commodities.

The role requires 20+ years in mining study/project and/or program management, strong leadership, and ability to sign off on NI43-101/JORC/SEC SK-1300.

Qualifications

• Mining Study and Technical Services leadership experience.
• Experience leading and developing high performing teams.
• Ability to sign off as competent person for NI43-101, JORC and SEC SK-1300 reporting.
• Strong client relationship building at senior/executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary mining teams in studies from high-level to definitive execution.
• Engage in business development with external clients.
• Interface with clients on project technical issues and reports.
• Oversee risk and value management, study scope and delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and support hiring.
