Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Mine Technical Services Manager for a Western US position based in one of our Western offices. You will lead North American resource geology, mining, advisory services, and mineral processing teams, delivering technical and economic solutions across energy, mining, and processing projects.

You will mentor and develop high-performing teams, support business development, and collaborate with sector leaders to engage clients and advance multi-disciplinary mining

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Mining Engineering.
• MBA is an asset.
• At least 20 years of study/project and/or program management experience.
• Direct study experience in mining or heavy industry sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of mining professionals from studies through execution.
• Engage in business development with key clients.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders on project issues.
• Serve as program/account sponsor on key accounts.
• Define scope and plan execution with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Enhance study management processes, including risk and value management.
• Provide QA/QC oversight on projects and peers.
• Travel domestically and internationally (~10%).
