Job summary

Stantec seeks a Mine Technical Services Manager for the Western US to lead geology, mining, advisory and processing teams across projects from scoping to feasibility. You will mentor professionals, drive technical excellence, and support business development with key clients in a dynamic, global mining environment.

This senior role requires 20+ years in mining, B.S. in Mining Engineering, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mining study teams and programs within mining and related industries.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong risk management, commercial awareness, and project finance understanding.
• Extensive background across full mining life cycle and studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead North American resource geology, mining, advisory and processing teams.
• Engage in external business development and client relationship building.
• Direct studies from scoping through Definitive Feasibility with QA/QC.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required (~10%).
