Job summary

Stantec seeks a Mine Technical Services Manager for a Western US-based role, leading a cross-functional team across resource geology, mining, and processing. You will deliver technical and economic solutions, client engagement, and program leadership on complex mining projects from feasibility through execution.

The successful candidate will drive business development, mentor staff, and ensure rigorous quality assurance while collaborating with sector leaders and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Broad mining experience across operations, engineering, consulting and corporate.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary mining projects with open pit and underground.
• Ability to provide technical and economic solutions, due diligence, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead North American resource geology, mining, advisory services, and mineral processing teams.
• Drive business development with external relationships and key clients.
• Mentor junior staff and support hiring of new talents.
• Ensure quality assurance and engage with clients on project issues.
• Oversee study management processes and risk/value management.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
